This painting is part of a new series I am working on called "Heaven and Earth".
The series is about big active skies, and will have pairs of paintings with the same image, one in pastel and one in oil.  The pairs will have one small to mid-sized painting, and one large painting.

Addren's oil and pastel paintings are filled with light and bold color.  Many were done "en plein air"during her travels through out the country .
